CS Rohan Shinde is a Practising Company Secretary currently based in Pune, India.

His core areas include corporate restructuring, compliance management, and appearances before various authorities. He carries a rich experience of working in Secretarial and Legal Departments of listed companies operating in various industries like manufacturing, service, and financial industry.

During the period of employment, in addition to the day-to-day operations, he was entrusted with the opportunity to handle following tasks:

• Setting up processes for compliance
• Corporate restructuring
• Coordination with regulatory authorities such as ROC, RD, RBI, Stock exchange etc.
• Litigation management in various Courts and Tribunals
• Issue of debentures by NBFC
• Providing legal opinions to Board of Directors
• Conducting trainings for Independent Directors
• Insolvency resolution process

He was awarded as ‘Best Employee in GP Global Group’ for establishing standards and processes in the group.

Apart from secretarial and compliance department he carries experience of managing litigations with civil /criminal courts and various tribunals such as Consumer Forum. Moreover, he contributed by taking Authorized Economic Operator license for his employer.

He completed his law graduation from Government Law College, Mumbai. His passion for putting his knowledge in action led him to participate in and represent his college in numerous competitions. He has won several national moot court competitions. He was awarded as best speaker in many debate competitions at national and university level. He was the first winner of Narrative Jurisprudent Competition conducted by Mumbai University.

On the research front, he has published several papers in leading journals like Chartered Secretary and Taxmann as well as presented papers at international conferences. He participated in various research programmes organised by Institute and has won numerous recognitions at such programmes. He won ‘Best Project’ prize during his training with ICSI.

His industry experience allows him to bring a keener understanding of needs of various clients engaged in various sectors.
